William Rubin a director of the museum of modern art says,"there is no single definition of art." Robert Rosenblum an art historian adds,"the idea of defining art is so remote [today]" he doesn't think "anyone would dare do it."

"The quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance."
